- The morning session (8:30-12:15)will be video streamed throughout Iowa and
beyond.
Where:
- AEA 267 in Cedar Falls OR
- Online via Zoom
What:
- Better understand the philosophy and development of the National Core Arts Standards (to make more sense for our classrooms)
- Navigate and use each of the (six) layers of the standards in various purposes
Consultant Wendy Barden will be our presenter/facilitator for this session. She has more than three decades of experience as a music educator and K‐12 program administrator, and her work has influenced teaching and learning in thousands of classrooms. She has worked with many art, music, and theatre teachers with the National Core Arts Standards. She will bring her expertise and practical experience with her. Her goal is to work side by side with you, the educators, to maximize student learning!
