New Remote Learning Micro-Credentials

Are you feeling overwhelmed with this transition to remote learning? Learn more about designing effective remote instruction and earn license renewal credit at the same time.

MISIC is excited to announce that we now have two micro-credentials ready on Remote Learning and we are working to have several more ready in the coming weeks. MISIC’s nationally recognized micro-credentials are personalized, performance-based learning tasks on topics of need or interest that teachers can complete at their own pace. Micro-credentials can be completed individually, with a learning team (even remote teams), or as an element of the building or district professional development program. The new micro-credentials are:

• Startup Tips for Making the Shift to Online Learning
• Remote Learning: Lesson Design and Delivery

These two micro-credentials can also be bundled with a third micro-credential on Remote Learning to earn License Renewal Credit (LRC). LRC is open to everyone for $80/credit. Please contact Jamie if you are interested in working on these for LRC.

MISIC member districts can access all of MISIC’s micro-credentials and more resources by logging into the MISIC website.

MISIC will work with non-member districts to develop an agreement for the use of specific micro-credentials or to provide access to teachers.
