DESCRIPTION:MISIC’s C3 Cadre Project is an intensive\, overtime\, sustained professional development experience; designed to provide participants with deep knowledge and experience in designing units of study that implement the Iowa Standards with high levels of quality and rigor. Participants will learn how to use the Unit Planner to make the instructional shifts necessary to equip students with the knowledge and skills for success in the 21st Century. \nWho Is It For:\n\nInstructional\, Curriculum\, & PD Leaders\nTeacher Leaders\, Teacher Coaches\nBuilding Administrators\nClassroom Teachers\, (all grades\, all contents)\n\nWhy Is It Needed:\nTo develop a school’s internal capacity to support the implementation of the Iowa Standards by creating a team of experts within the school or district. \nWhen & Where Is It?\nCohort 3 (Webster City) \n\nSeptember 29\, 2016 (Thurs)\nSeptember 30\, 2016 (Fri)\nOctober 10\, 2016 (Mon)\nNovember 7\, 2016 (Mon)\nNovember 29\, 2016 (Tues)\nDecember 12\, 2016 (Mon)\nJanuary 10\, 2017 (Tues)\nJanuary 30\, 2017 (Mon)\nFebruary 14\, 2017 (Tues) (snow make-up date)\n\n  \nWhat Does It Cost:\nRegistration includes all eight days of workshops\, webinars\, digital support\, sharing and materials and resources for the first year of the project. \n\nMISIC Members: $600 per individual; $500 per person with a team of 3 or more.\nNon-MISIC Members: $1500 per individual.\nMISIC members have priority for limited spaces.
