SUMMARY:Social Studies Workshop
DESCRIPTION:NEW for 2018-19!!!  Administrator and Teacher Licensure Renewal Credit is available for attending a combination of meetings\, conferences and workshops. \nRegister for October 30 by Tuesday\, October 16 & \nRegister for November 12 by Monday\, October 29 to avoid the late registration fees. \nLate Registration: $20 added to the registration fee for registrations made within 2 weeks of the event. \nIowa Social Studies Standards\nFFA Center\, Ankeny\nThe workshops will focus on Social Studies vocabulary\, writing to learn\, instructional strategies for an inquiry-based lesson and strategies for ensuring success for every learner.  Participants will build on their understanding of the inquiry process\, compelling essential questions\, standards\, text complexity and text sets to develop their units. \n**The workshops will each have new content that build on previous workshops.
