DESCRIPTION:Courtyard by Marriott – Ankeny\n\n\nClick here to register for the workshop.\nThis workshop will mirror the workshops that we offered in November 2016. \nA Focus on Instruction: Preparing Students for Rigorous Assessments\n Take action now to shift classroom practice to prepare for students for new assessments.  In this workshop\, districts will explore multiple documents and strategies related to implementation of the new state tests: \n\nUnderstand the structure tests and how data will be generated\nIdentify accurate targets for instruction that are aligned to the standards\nUnderstand question item types on the new tests and how to provide practice for students on new question types\nAlign classroom practice with appropriate DOK (Depth of Knowledge) levels.\n\n\n  \nPlease email Jamie with any questions.\n \n \nCOST – Please use the PayPal links below or bring a check with you to the workshop.\n\n \nMISIC members: $50/person\n   \n \nNon-MISIC members: $175/person\n   \n \n***Note: Non-Member registration costs of $125 will be credited to districts that join MISIC within the fiscal year 2016-2017.
