ISASP Reading and Science Rangefinding: The process of rangefinding is to review constructed response assessment items and discuss a set of responses that demonstrates a range of performance. The learning team will arrive at consensus scores according to the standards and scoring criteria established by each item’s rubric. The rangefinding responses will then be used to create training sets that will allow Pearson to train scorers to accurately and consistently apply the scoring criteria for each ISASP item.
WHEN: Monday, June 6 – Tuesday, June 7, 2022
REQUIREMENTS: Educators with current experience in grades 3-11 ELA or Math; or grades 5,8 and 10 Science.
COMPENSATION: Daily compensation rate is $130 per day
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: Professional Development Credit is available from MISIC. More information regarding professional development credit will be provided during the rangefinding meeting.
