As Diane Trim states, School districts are re-arranging bell schedules to accommodate student learning styles and multiple intelligences as well as our education standards. Block scheduling decreases passing time between classes, decreases time teachers spend beginning and ending classes, and increases time for instruction, cooperative learning, and activities that appeal to students’ learning styles and multiple intelligences.
