Iowa Social Studies Standards
The workshops will focus on Social Studies vocabulary, writing to learn, instructional strategies for an inquiry-based lesson and strategies for ensuring success for every learner. Participants will build on their understanding of the inquiry process, compelling essential questions, standards, text complexity and text sets to develop their units.

**The workshops will each have new content that build on previous workshops. However, you can attend these even if you were unable to attend previous workshops.
