This year MISIC will again be doing four meetings spread across the year. Each meeting will be broadcast via Zoom across the state. The first meeting will be held Monday, October 21 from 9-11am. The meetings will also be recorded and posted.

We hope you can join us for this first meeting to hear more about Social-Emotional Learning, the ISASP test and other work that the MISIC team is doing to support you!

Tonya Hotchkin from Tanager Place will be joining us to present more information about Social-Emotional Learning.

Rise: Well-being and Resilience

This presentation will provide concepts from the Rise: Well-being and Resilience Framework. Emphasis will be on how to build authentic relationships in order to create adaptive neuropathways and allow for new narratives to be developed in youth.  Insight will be given on the indicators of well-being and how to foster social, emotional learning in youth. Lastly, we will explore ways to enhance a youth’s life; integrating all concepts within the framework so that all youth can RISE and live in their greatness.
