Shifting Classroom Practice for the ISASP and Beyond

The ISASP results are coming soon!

Do you want to get a head start on how to read and interpret the results? If so, join us on Tuesday, October 1, to hear Catherine Welch’s presentations on:
Measuring Student Achievement on the Iowa Core Standards – Learn how the results can inform curricular decisions, review the ISASP test specifications, and acquire the knowledge on how the test specifications align with the Iowa Core Standards.

Interpretive Guidelines for ISASP Results – What types of reports will be provided? How can the achievement levels be interpreted? What will be the types of scores and metrics provided?

In the coming weeks you will be getting the results of your first ISASP. The new state assessment results will provide the opportunity for reflecting how well your instruction is aligned to the Iowa Core and for identifying changes that will ensure instruction is aligned. Before the next round of testing, you have the opportunity to impact classroom practice to better meet the rigor of the Iowa Core and the expectations of the assessment. Join us at the Shifting Classroom Practice for the ISASP and Beyond conference on October 1 in Ankeny to learn how to move to a more tightly aligned system of curriculum, instruction and assessment.
