Hello MISIC Members-

First of all, thank you for all of your entries in the MISIC Name Contest! The MISIC Board had a lot of great ideas to choose from! The new name of Mid-Iowa School Improvement Consortium is actually a combination of ideas from two districts. Denver CSD and Greene County CSD both won a free day of training from one of the MISIC team members! Congrats to both of those districts and thanks again for the great ideas.

Without further ado, the new name for our organization will be…

MISIC: Impacting Students; Improving Curriculum

We will be working over the next few months to officially change the name of the organization. You will start to see this new name on documents and materials from us.

With the new name, we need a new logo. The board decided to have another contest for the new logo. This contest is for students in MISIC member districts. Please pass the attached information about the logo contest to students in your district that would be interested in submitting a design for a new logo. The winner will receive a $500 scholarship from MISIC. All submissions must be received by March 15, 2016.

Let us know if you have any questions. Thanks again for the great ideas!
