Most Likely to Succeed – Documentary Screening

February 25, 2016 – 6:30pm

We want to let you all know about the Iowa screening of the educational documentary, Most Likely to Succeed.  The Most Likely to Succeed education documentary offers an inspiring look at what students & teachers are capable of – if we have the vision & courage to transform our schools.

The event will be held on Thursday, February 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Hiatt Middle School in Des Moines.  Ted Dintersmith, the venture capitalist behind this video and the book of the same title (with co-author Tony Wagner from Harvard), will be there that night hosting the viewing and a conversation about what school could/should look like.

Ted will be joined on a panel with Georgia Van Gundy, head of Global Community Relations at the Principal as well as the State of Iowa Government Relations and Isaac Miller, a student at Iowa BIG in Cedar Rapids.  We also hope to have a local Superintendent on the panel as well as we discuss the film and the impact that it could/should have on our educational system.
