C3 Literacy Cadres – Fall 2015

In-depth training on various aspects of Iowa Standards implementation and instructional design. Cadre members will network in job-alike groups to gain a deep understanding of the standards and how they can become embedded in instructional practice in classrooms. Cadres can be developed across districts or within districts. Mechanisms for sharing ideas and experiences, as well as for collaborative problem-solving, will be integral to helping cadre members become prepared to deliver assistance to others in the district or building.

The C3 Cadre Project is an intensive 6-day professional development experience, designed to provide participants with deep knowledge and experience in implementing the Iowa Standards with high levels of quality and rigor. Participants will develop units of instruction and practice instructional strategies as they develop expertise and skill.

• Develop instructional leaders.
• Give your TLC and building leaders the skills they need to be successful in their work.
• Webinars and cohorts will support the work between sessions.
• Share resources with educators across the country.
• Two more regional locations coming in Fall 2015.

 

MISIC members: $600/person
$500/person for teams of five or more

Non-MISIC members: $1500/person (Note: Non-Member registration costs of $900 will be credited to districts that join MISIC within the fiscal year 2015-2016.)
